Nnamdi Kanu's House Was Not Raided, He Won't Be Declared Wanted Says Military
The Defence Headquarters of the military on Friday in Abuja said that it had no business declaring the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnami Kanu, wanted.
At a briefing with journalist, the DHQ stated that Kanu was not in military custody and so they couldn't be held accountable for him.

A final ear student of University of Benin, Caleb Obasogie,22, has allegedly killed his mother, Josephine Igbineweka,55, over an argument on undisclosed amount of money.

117 Military Offocers To Be Detained Over Turkish Failed Coup

117 soldiers have been scheduled to be detained over Turkish coup links to the Islamic preacher, Fethullah Gulen. The attempted 2016 coup failed and many people lost their lives in the process.
The United States (US) based Islamic preacher who has been on self imposed exile since 1999 has been accused by Turkish government of masterminding the failed coup.

Union Threatens To Shut Down Kenya Airways Over Condition Of Service For Nigerian Staffs
The National Union of Air Transport Employee (NUATE) has threatened to shut down the operation Kenya Airways over the 'performance based leave' condition for Nigerian staff.

!Militants Kill 3 Crew Members As They Attacked Their Vessel
Militants have killed three crew members in Ekebiri Waterways in southern Ijaw as they attacked the oil services vessel on Friday. This is coming about three weeks after the military hiuse boat was attacked killing two people.
Source revealed that two of the victims killed in the incident werevsecurity escorts and s civilian crew member of the tugboat towing a vessel.
The incident was confirmed by the Bayelsa state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Asinim Butswat. he said one police officer was no where to be found, not even his remains

Court Forbides IPOB, Declares It A Terrorist Group
The Federal High Court in Abuja has given a judicial backing to the executive order of President Muhammadu Buhari, outlawing the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its activities.
According to Punch, the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Abdu Kafarati, granted the order proscribing the group on Wednesday.
The court declared that the activities of IPOB in Nigeria, particularly in the South East or South-South regions, henceforth, constituted "an act of terrorism."

Governor Of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello is set to recover the state looted resources from his predecessors, Captain Idris Wada and Ibrahim Idris. The governor has inaugurated seven men committee that will look into recovering of the state's looted funds.
The aim of the committee is to look into how the resources of the state were used between May 2003 to January 2016. The committee members are Chairman of the committee, Major General Mobolaji Koleoso (Rted), Barrister Katun Sule, Secretary; Yakubu Okala, Kasim Suleiman, Barrister Agada, MARIAM Ladi Ibrahim and Kingsley Fanwo. Joseph Daudu (SAN) is to serve as legal counsel.

A Delta woman, Gladys Kelikuma has accused police in Delta state of killing his husband,Ernest Kelikuma,60. The deceased was the owner of the private security firm, Ambassador Security Service and Co. Nigeria Limited situated at 52 Old market road, Onitsha, Anambra.
