After 3 Champions League Trophy, Real Madrid Coach, Zidane Resigns

Zinedine Zidane

Ex-French International, Zinedine Zidane resigned as Real Madrid coach after his 3 consecutive Champions League titles with the Spanish league club.

This development came up after his club defeated Liverpool to win the 2017/2018 Champions League title.

The brilliant coach took over from Raphael Benitez in January 2016. Since then he has won the the UEFA Champions League title 3 times back to back.

Reports revealed that Zidane decision to leave Real Madrid came as a result from the hint that Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale may leave the club.

Zidane hinted about his departure in February, he said,

"Being a coach is extremely tiring - more so at a club like Real Madrid. When I feel there is nothing more to give I'll walk away."
