Olamide and Pedro Obaseki
Mr Pedro Obaseki, former governorship aspirant in Edo state and a cousin to the present governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki has called on the relevant authorities for the ban of Olamide's new song 'SCIENCE STUDENT'. The hit song has been enjoying air play ever since it was released.

Mr Pedro said he heard the song which was performed in Yoruba while he was in traffic on third mainland bridge in Lagos, he said the song encourages children to mix all types of drugs. According to him, Olamide is eulogizing illicit drugs and encouraging children to take tramafol and monkey tail.

Pedro added that there is need for the song to be banned because the YBNL boss who has huge followership and whose song might become an opinion moulder, released the song when the nation is on its knees. He went further to enjoin the NDLEA and other agencies fighting against drug abuse to sanitize the minds of kids who are protesting against the systems in all forms of hair and dress codes like sagging of their trousers.
