Cristiano Ronaldo Threatens To Leave Madrid If He Does not Get Pay Rise

Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo,32, has threatened to leave the club if he does not get pay rise. The Portuguese international told his bosses to pay him as much as his Barcelona counterpart, Lionel Messi or he will leave.

The 32-year-old play maker is demanding a £17 million increment that will beef up his earnings at the La Liga and UEFA Champions League reigning champions to the sum of £35.5 million.

He had signed a 5-year deal with the club in November 2016 which will due in 2021. It was rumoured that Ronaldo might likely ho back to his former club, Manchester United.

Reports has it that Ronaldo is frustrated by Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez refusal to offer him an improved contract after he was promised when he led Real Madrid to La Liga and Champions League victory last season.
