Super Eagles Gave Part Of Their Match Bonus To Goal Keeper, Carl Ikeme

After defeatng Chipolopolo of Zambia 1-0 in the second of World Cup qualifier, Nigerian footbal team, including players and officials under coach Gernot Rohr, have shared their match bonus with goalkeeper Carl Ikeme who is down with Leukemia.

That was the game that gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria ticket to the 2018 World Cup In Russia. According to Rohr, the goalkeeper opened door for the Super Eagles due to his performance during the first leg in Ndola, Zambia which ended 1-0 in favor of the Eagles.

He said, "At first don't forget him, you have a bonus everybody gave his part to Carl he was very happy, the next idea I have is to go and see him to say thanks for what you did in the first game against Zambia. " We can't forget he brought us on the right way and we are sure he will come out of this great fight he has to fight and come with us to the World Cup."
