Ex-Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese Appointed As UN Ambassador

Ex-Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese

The winner of the 2014 edition of Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese has been appointed as United Nation's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) ambassador.

Ikubese is a model and also an actor. He was appointed based on his contribution and overall development of humanity, selfless services, creativity and compassion towards human development

The UN appointment was accompanied by a customized vehicle plate number, an international identification card and an honorary plaque. He said it was an honour for him to be given such as great responsibility as a young man.

He added that the MDGs were some of the things he studied as an International Relations student in University, and being appointed as the MDGs ambassador means a whole lot to him.

His new position as a UN Ambasdsdor for Global Educators for all Initiatives confers on him the role of commitment to the ideals of the organisation.
