Ex Governor, Ladoja Blames Current Governor For Lavishing N100m On Olubadan's Coronation

Politics has found it way in all facets of our lives in this part of the world. For every move made by political elite must have a political undertone.

Abiola Ajimobi & Rashidi Ladoja

This is the case of former governor of Oyo state, Rashidi Ladoja and the serving governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi. The former governor has blamed Ajimobi for claiming he spent N100 million from state purse on the coronation ceremony of the Olubadan of Inadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji.

Reacting to the statement made by Ajimobi in an interview on Saturday, Ladoja said, "Was the money he claimed to have spent budgeted for? Was it personal money? Did Ibadan people go to him cap in hand for him to foot the bill? Oyo State money should be spent judiciously for the use of all the people of the state and not a section of it. How much did the governor spend on the coronation ceremonies in other towns and cities?"

Ladoja has also condemned Ajimobi over the suggestion that tuition fee at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) should be reviewed.
