Chelsea FC Cancels Victory Parade Over Manchester Attack

The winner of the English Premier League, Chelsea has canceled their victory parade following the the Manchester bomb attack on Monday 22 May, 2017.

The victory parade is for their success at the just concluded 2016/2017 season, the club slso won the FA Cup final atvWembly. Many people were killed and some injured in the Manchester wttack.

The club has cancelled the parade due to heightened security threat announced by the British Government and they feel it is inappropriate to go ahead with the parade in London this coming Sunday.

In honour of those who lost their lives at the Manchester attack on Monday, black armbands would be worn by the players in final against Arsenal on Saturday. Donation would also be made to support the victims of the Manchester bomb attack.
