A Woman That Was Told By Doctors She Could Not Conceive Delivers A Baby Girl


A 31-year-old woman Jen who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and other illness has given birth to baby a girl. She was told she was not going to get pregnant because of the Chrohn's disease.

A Crohb's disease is an ongoing and life-long condition that when it is diagnosed there is no cure for it. It is a condition that causes inflammation of the figestive system. It was named after a New York doctor, Burrill Crohn, who reported cases of the disease in 1932.

Jen and her husband, former soldier, John who is also 31 years were very happy when they discovered Jen was pregnant. The couple were filled with  surprise as they had been told by doctor that it was not possible for her to concieve due to her illness.

The excited mum revealed how she was diagnosed with the life threatening disease in her twenties, the inflammatory bowel condition, Crohn's disease. Before she was diagnosed with the disease, she was vomiting regularly and using the toilet up to forty times a day.

"When I turned 21 and started being diagnosed by things I basically lost the whole of my twenties to being poorly. It's basically your body attacking itself. I lost friends, boyfriends, everything" she said.
