Kenya's Abraham Kiptum And Rodah Tanuyi Win The Male And Female Categories Of Access Bank Lagos Marathon 2017 Edition.


Two Kenyans led the 2017 edition of Access Bank Lagos Marathon.

Abraham Kiptum a male Kenyan athlete won the male category with a record time of 2 hours 15 minutes 20 seconds, he also won the 2016 edition of the marathon. Kiptum got a cash gift of US $50,000.

Another Kenyan, Rodah Tanuyi won the female category with a record time of 2 hours 37 minutes 50 seconds.

2nd Position - Ronny Kipkoech Kiboss - 15 mins - 25 secs
3rd Position - Kiprotich Kiroi - 2 hrs 15 mins 28 secs
4th Position - Tuwel Fickson - 2 hrs 16 mins 49 secs
5th Position - Oabi Tedassie Yae - 2 hrs 16 mins 55 secs

Female Category
1st Position - Today Tanuyi - 2 hrs 37 mins 50 secs
2nd Position - Friday Lodepa - 2 hrs 38' mins 21 secs
3rd Position - Alice Timbilili - 2 hrs 39 mins 2 secs
4th Position - Emily Chekemoi Samoei - 2 hrs 11 mins 20 secs.
