Former Miss Tanzania, Sepetu Charged To Court For Possessing Marijuana


Former Miss Tanzania, Wema Issack Sepetu has been charged to court for being in possession of marijuana. The former beauty queen appeared before the Kisutu Residents' Magistrate Court in Tanzania to face charges of being in possession of 1.8 grams of marijuana.

The marijuama was found at Sepetu's house at Kunduchi-Ununio by police when they searched.

The former Tanzania appeared before magistrate Thomas Simba in company of her house helps, Mr Selemani Abbas and Angelina Msigwa.

Sepetu denied the allegation and three of them were required to have two sureties, who were supposed to sign a Sh5 million bond for them to be released on bail. They were released on bail after bail conditions were fulfilled.

The case has been adjourned until 22 February, 2017.
