Insurgents have killed soldiers and civilian vigilantes  at Gajiram, Maiduguri, Borno state in a fresh attack on Wednesday in the state. More than ten people were left dead in the recent attack in that town.

The gun battle between doliders and book haram lasted for some hours killing the militant group, civilian vigilante and soldiers. Some dead bodies of those who fell during battle were found while some are not yet found.

According to a source, the attack was suspected to have been carried out by a version of the militant group led by Abu Musab Al-Barnawi.
