Six Nigerian States To Feed Primary School Pupils



In other to implement the Federal Government sponsored Homegrown school feeding programme, six Nigerian states has commenced the feeding of primary school pupils in their various states. This development was made known on Sunday by the Vice President's spokesman , Mr Laolu Akande.

The states to commence the feeding program me are Enugu, Ebonyi, Ogun, Osun and Oyo while Anambra kicked off since last year.

According to the 2016 budget, with the allocation of N93.1 billion for the feeding programme, about 5.5 million Nigerian primary school pupils are going to benefit from the scheme.
