FOUR RIVERS STATE' COMMISSIONER SUSPENDED - GOVERNOR WIKE

GOVERNOR NYESOME WIKE

On August 31st, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike suspended four commissioners, Head of Service and Special Adviser on Lands for three months.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, annouced this in a statement in Port Harcourt.

The affected commissioners are Dr John Bazia, Chieftancy Affairs, Mrs Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, Culture and Tourism, Fred Kpakol, Finance and Mr Boma Iyaye, Sports.

He said the Head of Service, Mr Rufus Godwin and Mr Anugbun Onuoha, Special Adviser on Lands were also affected by suspension.
