TEACHERS IN OYO STATE DISOBEY GOVERNMENT ORDER, REFUSE TO RESUME.



The Governor of Oyo State , Abiola Ajimobi, has directed that the schools in the state should resume on Monday 11, 2016, except 17 others whose pupils were involved in the demonstration against the proposed private partners involvement in the management of some public secondary schools in the state. Ajimobi gave the directive through his state Commissioner for Information , Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun.

Some students in some of the public secondary schools showed up but there were no teachers in their class rooms.The directive given by Ajimobi attracted different reactions, some parents refused to let their children to go to school until labour union in the state and the state government settle their issues.

In some of the schools , some teachers and students were seen hanging around their schools but later left.
